NEil deGrasse Tyson is an asshole to many people, I understand. But that's no reason to deny science because there is a another side of science many spiritual people would like when understanding and that clown NDT denies that side which many versed and respected REAL scientists really are trying to prove revolutionary theories any religious conservative would allure to grasp it while no religion would have a problem with.

Neil deGrasse Tyson is wrong about the Creator (God/Jesus), mainly because science will always be too weak to be able at least to conceive God, forget about to prove something about Him, as God told us about our limitations through the following comparison: we, humans, are like the cups that cannot understand the Man who made them. How will science ever be able to know from what we are made, or what is beyond this Universe, while we can go infinitely to smaller things and infinitely to bigger things (logically / mathematically)? That is why Einstein was right saying "We know nothing at all. All our knowledge is but the knowledge of schoolchildren. *The real nature of things we shall never know".*

Unfortunately, in spite of the fact that most part of science is correct (true), it is too weak regarding the most important things (as an example, it will never know what a photon really is, forget about anything else). Also, regarding the Creator, science is just what "the cups" can think to understand "the Man" who made them. This is the comparison used by God to make us understand our limitations (the HUGE difference between us and divinity).

Most atheists seem not intelligent enough to understand the following fact about science and our limited mind: Regarding the Creator, science is just what "the cups" can think to understand "the Man" who made them. This is the comparison used by God to make us understand our limitations (the HUGE difference between us and divinity).
"We know nothing at all. All our knowledge is but the knowledge of schoolchildren. *The real nature of things we shall never know"* - Albert Einstein. If you do not believe Einstein, then try Newton who said: "He who thinks half-heartedly will not believe in God; but he who really thinks has to believe in God", or the greatest inventor of all times, Nikola Tesla, who said: "The gift of mental power comes from God, Divine Being, and if we concentrate our minds on that truth, we become in tune with this great power", or check those hundreds of reputable Christians scientists in the "List of Christians in science and technology" on Wikipedia. Have in mind that it is an incomplete list, many Christians scientists not being mentioned there, as an example Emil Palade was an Orthodox Christian who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine.

Tyson's rebuttal was  on point for making earth being earth again, but he missed Hawking's second point, most humans in power can't be trusted, therefore if a nuclear war were to occur, humans on another planet would still move forward. It's like insurance if it doesn't happen great, but the odds are great when it comes to war. And Shame on Tyson for ignoring this because Carl Sagan was deeply worried about the human race moving forward because of this. If anything Tyson should be right behind him moving humans to another location.

Such arrogance. If they really have insight into the relativistic nature of the universe then they'll have to concede that there are different ways of looking at it that are equally valid. Like the glass is half full vs half empty. If you say life is not special then that's merely your view and not an objective fact. To say that it is special is equally valid based on the criteria you use. To claim people have no reason to be upset about being called "not special" can be seen as an even worse form of ignorance & arrogance.

To those who need to have logic on their side, there is actually a statistically higher percentile certainty that god or a god exists than doesn't. The fact that you understand that things are in fact created, understand sentience, know there are multiple dimensions, insurmountable amounts of universes containing an infinite amount of planets leaning towards and infinite amount of permutations of existence, and you're just a limited biological heap of cells, electricity and chemicals who thinks they need to have direct proof of god or a god while ignoring your own stupidity and limitations. You must be absolutely retarded. You are like an ant trying to disprove the existence of a microprocessor. You're just not that fucking advanced.

Both sides are arguing way above their intellectual pay grade, but one side has actual physical evidence of the permutation of existence in itself based upon the multi-layered rule sets of reality. If chaos reigned, why does gravity necessitate us? why are we even alive? why do atoms maintain relatively the same properties? why is there oxygen on the planet? why do we need to breath oxygen? why can't we breath Co2?

If you don't understand what all of these permutations of rule sets on a quantitative level , they all point to necessity, providence, and purpose. Any single one of those rule sets being broken would kill us all instantly. Not understanding this is insanity. Proud atheists take these scientific laws for granted as if their purpose has no purpose other then to facilitate the randomness of the universe. Which is eye-rollingly silly. The fact that ants wish they could think like gods, just to proclaim that no god exist is laughable.

However, that magic (randomness) does not exist, so, I (my "offsprings") don't convert even after trillions of years time. Right?

Weird thing to notice on a Neil Tyson video, but I've got to comment on the body language here. You can tell just from the way they're facing each other and the occasional hand-to-shoulder embrace that these two guys really respect and like each other. The story of jesus will never change (truth)..unlike science where (facts) can change day to day,How can facts change? Like the shape of the earth. Or if pluto is a planet. Science is based in Hypothesis or Theory..Scientists cannot explain what set off the big bang..but they admit there is a GOD particle . They are so smart they're stupid. They cannot lead a country because they are not based in TRUTH. They try to fake intelligence as wisdom. They lie because they have no beliefs. They do not use common sense. They are self absorbed. Jesus is Truth to those who have been decieved by science. GOD is the only thing left when science fails to give Truth to mankind. Science cannot find GOD because GOD created Time Space and Matter , which is the Beginning the Heaven and the Earth...Jesus came to save man..not to destroy. God loves us so much that he sent him to Earth to fill man with pure love and hope of everlasting life in Heaven with our Father the creator of all things. In Jesus we become as close to GOD as we can ever get to him while living on earth. Peace and Grace will be in our future if we find Christ,..if not.. only darkness.,It is our will...or GODs will..In time we see what the difference is between Truth and Facts and what Matters most. Life is short but it doesn't have to be. If you believe.

He'll tell you his thoughts on God, but won't make that his focus. Instead he focuses on discovering the unknown, eduction and the positive- as shown in this clip
