Honolulu is pronounced (HO-NOH-LOO-LOO), not HAh-Nah-loo-loo. There is no A's in Honolulu. I recommend venturing outside of town and go more toward the Windward and Leeward side of Oahu if you visit that Island again. There's better food in a larger amount at a decent price. Big Island you get great food in Hilo side. Talk with the locals they'll steer you in the right direction. Ala Moana, Honolulu, and Waikiki is more tourist prices and they don't give you plenty food.

Not all musubi are like that, the ones I make at home are sautèd in sugared shoyu sauce and then it's paired with the same thickness of rice and is wrapped in almost a whole sheet of nori

Hey Mike, you might like to include the name of the food places you review. I am a big fan of you and after watching your review of Shirokiya's Japan Village Walk you made everything look so good that I wanted to check it out. Since I live on Oahu I thought it would be easy. Not so. After you raved about the Japanese Fried Chicken I wanted to try it but could not find it. After wandering back and forth down the aisles I finally gave up. Either they went out of business or they were not making it that day or whatever. And since you never gave the name of the place I had no reference point to find it. After watching your blog again I notice that you do not give the name of any of the places you ate at. Why is that???How can you give a review of a place and not give the name?? Some of the places you mentioned but did not name I could guess because I live here, but how do you expect someone who doesn't live here to find the places you rave about? You say if I have any comments to let you know, so I am.

That's definitely not wagyu and that's not cooked medium rare. Who on earth would deep fry something that cost so much something that is prized and rare. No way wagyu would cost $28. I'm not hating or anything. I love ur videos but just tellin you that's not wagyu
