Great case! Did you build this as a kind of retro system to play older games?

sounds good :) i have an old office PC in the attic and i recently had the idea to fix it up a bit and turn it into a retro gaming PC, install windows XP on it to run the games which no longer seem to work on windows 10. your video gave me the idea to mod the case :)

KarovMac's Shack : Thanks, glad you like it. The case was built some time back just for casual gaming, I re-post the vid as it was one of my favourite and wanted to share with everyone that we can use hardware shop stuff and some imagination to mod a uselessly condemn case and bring it back to life. But hey it's a good idea, maybe I'll consider to built one old retro win95 or. win98 system just to get some authentic retro gaming feel :)

Rafael Rodrigues : This high temp black spray is a 2 in 1 primer with very high heat resistance meant for engines/industurial use :)

Resul Emir : I purchased it from computer hardware stores and sometimes I remove and reuse from old cases. Alot people throw away old pc cases with working ports in it. If you want to save the hassles you can find parts you need from ebay.com at a very reasonable price:)

thank you for telling me the process. i had my guess like that but want to know for sure

Simplistic Modz : The whole front panel is wood, 5 pcs all join together with woodglue and clamps. After wood glue is dried, used superglue to strengthen it on the inside. Exterior edges need alot of filling and sanding to make it look smooth and seamless like 1 pc :)

Use Teflon super fine sandpaper to give it the ultra smooth wood surface for sanding before spray so that the paint looks nice like plastic finish.

Also remember to cut out all holes b4 u spray!

the whole thing wood? or just cut the plastic from the original then slap the wood infront of it ?
