I heard after his Florida Derby win he wasn't even breathing hard after the race. originally I had him in my exacta box but then threw him out. my longshot Colt was Lookin At Lee. he finished 2nd paid huge in the middle and on the end. the exacta came back $336.20 I should of hit that multiple times. instead I went with the 15H who finished 8th and went off 6-1. made a move on the outside then flattened out. so Derby for me was a washout. Oaks however different story. my longshot Filly was Daaadys Lil Darling. 20-1ML went off 12-1. finished 2nd. paid $11.00Place 6.60Show my play was Place. rare because usually I'm a Win bettor but on occasion i'll switch up when the situation calls for it.
I don't know how you guys sort through all that information- I just look at a few key factors and damn the torpedoes!
+Jay C. Nehf Yes it sure is. interesting racing ahead. I hope the 3yr old Filly that got injured is able to return Unique Bella. she looked like she was going to be a monster. take care.
Thanks LV, it's a really tough crop of 3 yo's to choose from, ain't it?
+Jay C Nehf Thanks great pick yourself having the Derby winner. I was concerned about a fast pace and felt he may get caught up in a speed dual. also the horses temperament was a factor. all along I felt he was the most intriguing horse but at the end threw him out mistake. the 1H I felt was the best closer in the field and liked him underneath. but went with the 15H. he had 3 prior wins over the Churchill strip. also excellent off track breeding. was working lights out leading up to the Derby. trainer angle and pattern as well played into my decision. some work out some don't. best of luck!
This was the first week I didn't watch your video....I should've watched it before the Derby. I liked Dreaming on Friday but by Saturday afternoon I talked myself out of it.
It took me a long time to settle on this horse so i got the video out very late. Sorry about that
I drew always dreaming on my channel! check it out:)
There will be more great ons to witness
Ya that may be a possibility! Im just super glad i got to witness an awesome peice of history. Too bad i couldnt see seabiscuit and secretariat haha that would make my life complete
I'm jealous! However, I used to see him every day before he retired. We are stabled at Santa Anita. Maybe sometime you'll draw Lord Admiral?
Wow thanks! Ill be looking forward to your next video! Fun fact- I went to the derby where American Pharaoh won!
I'm impressed! You didn't bet? Noooooo...
Great call Jay, thanks!!!! 😉
Don't mention it. LOL
I always know Always Dreaming has the biggest chance of winning. I know the favorites has no chance Classic E, Mc C and Irish war. And lookin at lee for trifecta.
I got the exacta but missed the trifecta, don't have battle of midway. I have Tapwrit and practical J.
I hope you cashed a good bet
You are the man, thank you!!!
So what's his chances of winning the Preakness?
Pretty good, I think
Great win by Always Dreaming. The race went exactly they way I thought it would. And now it's on to the Preakness. This horse is something special!!!!!
But of course!
You called it 👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼
Good job JC. Hope you had him over/ALL!!
Honestly, I didn't get a bet down

good job. very helpful!
jay i know this has nothing to do with the video, but i have something to say. there are three horses i don't trust in the derby, but no offense to them. Gormley, practical joke, and girvin. I don't see gormley winning this race. he came in the Santa Anita Derby in the stretch with a super slow pace, so i can't trust him. practical joke by the prep races he ran, that proven he definitely can't handle the distance of the derby. and Girvin, heard that he doesn't train as much. i can't trust Girvin, he does't appear to be fast enough to win and i can't trust a horse that has issues training up the derby
sorry, jay but that's where we separate my vote is classic empire. i hope he doesn't do bad on mud, though and irish war cry is my second vote, and both hence and gunnevera is my third julien leparoux is hopefully riding classic empire. irap is no nyquist irap the way it looks, sadly, will have no chance
I like Irish War Cry a lot! I hope he gets the roses
Ved Valmyr Irish war cry (Nj) breed 1933 Gormely best connection's,best breeding,Best Beyers.
