Summer Project - Make an INSANELY LOUD Bluetooth Amplifier!

  • Added:  2 years ago
  • Here's the amp we'll be using Amazon:
    eBay (ships globally):

    Amazon UK:

In this video we'll be making a wireless bluetooth-enabled amplifier so that we can put old bookshelf speakers to good use!
Not only is the sound quality fantastic, but it can also go super loud! It's also quite easy to build, and doesn't require any special tools - you can get away with just a hammer, nail, and a screwdriver if needed. Seriously!

Full parts list (includes international purchasing links):

    Happy building!

Oh, by the way, here's the note about the little switches:

These switches change the gain mode of the amp. If they're both on, the amp can reach insane(er) volume levels. However, to hit these volume levels without distortion, the amp needs 25v, which is more than our batteries can provide. The amp is loud enough with them off, and it also means that the signal to noise ratio is MUCH improved, so I don't really recommend messing with them.

Hey man I was watching your video how to make bluetooth speaker and i decided to build one because i had speakers laying around. Heres is the thing The speakers i have are two 10watt speakers and one 20watt speaker, and after watching your video and following through description I found out that you used 2x25watt amplifier. The question is can i use the same amplifier with all my speakers or do I need to get higher amplifier or 2x50watt amplifier. Can you tell me which amplifier to use for all of these speakers? And how many batteries, and what type of batteries do I need to use in order to power up whole thing? Thank you.

Hey man, Ive got the same amplifier board and it works so good thanks for your video. But when I turn it on it makes some punching sound from the speaker just like a second. Is it because I use a power supply directly from power wall (9V)?

This is how I'm going to do it...
    2 12V 1800mAh 10xAA Ni-MH Battery packs
    1 Tamiya Series Y-Harness
1 2.1mm Male DC Power Plug Connector Pigtail
I'm going to chop off the end of the Tamaya Series adaptor and install the 2.1 Male power plug for a total of 24v...the amp is rated for 25v power, I'll have to charge the battery packs one at a time. or on two separate chargers.

Luca Della Bonzana 20 days ago

If you are doing this keep in mind your batteries must have an integrated protection circuit to be safe to recharge, and be aware that the amplifier is likely to heat up

I will do it but not in aluminum sheet because I found it very expensive... I will do it instead on wood... or find the same but more cheap. I have 2 cheap speakers, from a supermarket that they present me when I was doing the shooping, that I'm not using & I will do a case for them to use it on my "workshop" at my garage.
