    Is this video supposed to make lazy people feel good about themselves? Guys, seriously? Hypothermia? You guys should go out and run, don't use this video as an excuse not to run, because, if these things are true, (witch most of them aren't) then they are effects from running A WHILE. If you run, make don't start off by doing good too much at once, because your body will tell you when it's time to be done. Now, you must get out of your comfort zone. When I say, listen to your body, that doesn't mean stop when you feel uncomfortable. See, this is why humans are lazy. These dumb videos going against exercise. Go for a run guys.

    Running 'too much' means running 10 miles a day, 7 days a week. Running a mile or two everyday (or every other day) will not only improve your physical health, but your mental health as well (including intelligence). *Sedentary people are less intelligent and less 'in-shape' than they could be*

    I run marathons. I have trained many thousands of miles, and run almost every day for years. There are a few other effects of running 2500+ miles a year. You feel great about yourself. You run faster and further than you ever dreamed possible. You are incredibly healthy and feel energetic all the time (also tired all the time, but it is a different kind of tired. Tough to explain.) You sleep like a baby. You eat constantly, food tastes incredibly good, but you never gain weight. You run a slow 5k just to warm up for a 5k race. You meet lots of cool people and talk for hours while running. About all sorts of topics. Oh, and they are right that marathons are pretty tough, which is the whole point.

    Most medical risk actually comes from not running enough in training then trying to run a marathon or half marathon. Those "shortcut" marathon plans will get you to the finish line, but your body is not really ready to do the 26.2 miles. Put in the time, spend a year or more building up, run a smart race, and you will have a safe and awesome marathon.
