Does the ability of hydrogen peroxide to destroy cells explain why it fizzes and creates white foam when in contact with blood?

  • SS-Captain Lurmey

So here's a tip for everyone out there who hates when their honey sets... If it's in a jar, take the lid off and throw it in the microwave for a minute or two, stir and repeat until you notice it's liquid again.

Higher temperatures redissolve all the sugar, de-crystallising the honey.

  • ʜʏʟɪᴀɴ ᴘʀɪᴅᴇ

A previous neighbor of mine was a bee keeper, one day while we were working in our gardens we were talking about bees. He goes "Know why bees have a Queen and not a President?" "Why's that?" "Presidents produce caca, Queens produce honey" lmao. Just the way he said it with his Romanian accent and everything, it was perfect.

Why do people want to drink alkaline water? Why not neutral?

  • Pinkrevenge101
    Pinkrevenge101 26 days ago

That's interesting so honey coming into contact with bacteria will make the water diffuse to it. Leaving the bacteria dry at the same time they're a neutral ph and their water activated gluconic acid in the honey which will prevent more bacteria growth and the hydrogen peroxide in glucose will destroy the existing bacteria.

    • Pinkrevenge101
      Pinkrevenge101 26 days ago

+Pinkrevenge101 ok nvm I he just said it that the bees put a part their immune system defense to the honey and the glucose oxidase prevents it from being spoiled. AND safe from bacteria since it is carrying water.

    • Pinkrevenge101
      Pinkrevenge101 26 days ago

Makes me wonder if this chemical makeup of honey has a reason that allows bees to keep their food from being infected with bacteria or the bees themselves.

Honey is evil, what if humans were made of bacteria o_O

  • Snooker King
    Snooker King 3 months ago

These tricks cant work if we CONSUME the honey rite??

1st: We absorb the sugar so regulate its concentration in our body, so there’s nothing to do with sucking out water from the bacteria in our body. Even before we assimilate it, we normally dilute the honey before drinking it, if we don’t, our saliva will, so this sugar-concentration-kills-bacteria trick wont work.

2nd: When honey meets water, be it water that we use to dilute it before drinking or from our saliva, gluconic acid and H2O2 will be produced. The highly acidic gluconic acid will not only kill bacteria, but will also irritate cells of our digestive tract. The same goes to H2O2, which will not only kill bacteria, but also kill our cells if we consume it.

3rd: The only thing left is antibiotics, so I assume that we can effectively absorb antibiotics and use it to fight bacteria in our body?? And so the statement “consuming honey is good for our body” is based on the antibiotics we get when we consume honey??

A scoby is a culture of *bacteria*. Guess what I feed it? Green tea and .....*HONEY*. My scoby is healthy and happy. So honey can't be killing all the kinds of bacteria.

  • Fernando Rodrigues dos Santos

If honey is a super saturated solution and wants water so bad, why is it so hard to dilute it in water? I make Mead, and mixing the honey to the water is very slow, usually I have to use warm water to speed up the process.

sawadikin I know how u feel with the password thing, I'm pretty old school too. Different countries promote different ideas and they're trying to say here that dark honey is best for you but I can't seem to believe it (but that's just me I guess). My experience and what I believe is good old fashioned golden honey. My husband has to have it every day or his allergies flare up big time. I like it in my tea to keep infections away. Our FDA has certain guidelines that make it almost impossible to get "the real deal" but read the labels if you buy it from a store and just use your better judgement I suppose. Sorry I couldn't be more help, good luck and keep your head up🤗👍

no I'm not us citizen, i have one email for this account but im not really sure the password is lol its longtime since i open my email and asking google for help because i forgot my password. i need recover my email i forgot the password again(old man habits lol). ooo the good honey have crystal sediment, i got one like that to but not all honey in one brand will have crystal sediment. some very light consistency and bright colors, some will darker even black. i buy honey sometimes from grocery store, sometimes from local honey farm in honey farm they make so many type of honey depend what flower the bee feed i like the sunflower honey and palm honey, black honey is the most expensive they said its wild honey from dead tree.

how they really sure can feed the bee with a specific flower. bee fly freely right.
